UK Creative Agencies to Pitch for New Google Ad Campaign

Google is currently directly approaching a number of UK creative agencies with a view to inviting a select few to pitch for their planned upcoming ad campaign. A spokesperson has confirmed they are planning the campaign to focus on boosting public exposure to a range of themes and events centred on their search facilities.

The search giant is considering running their new ad campaign in the same way they did during the US Superbowl last month, but they haven't officially decided on the specific details as yet. The pitch process for potential agencies will involve the creation of a campaign that builds on Google's Parisian Love film.

Contrary to reports, Google isn't looking at World Cup themes and hasn't committed to a new TV campaign.

Earlier this year Google engaged in a series of ads for their Chrome browser. They have only recently begun using above-the-line as an element of their marketing strategy.
