Twinings Introduces Fresh Brand Marketing to Boost Consumer Appeal

Popular tea brand Twinings is now set to ramp up consumer appeal with a new marketing campaign for its range of blended teas.

The change in brand positioning with include a new strapline: "Twinings gets you back to you".

This is expected to feature across all of Twining's advertising and marketing communications and could also appear on a fresh range of branded merchandise such as teapots, tea caddies and heat insulated travel cups.

The tea brand previously featured Stephen Fry in its advertising, with the strapline: "Discover the Art of Tea".

Twinings marketing has been based on the message that their tea offers a blend for every mood and emotion. Currently, their website states that their teas "help you get back to normal" and offers a different blend for a number of different occasions.

The company has not as yet revealed any further details on their 'Twinings gets you back to you' marketing activity.

They were recently in the news for a consumer backlash over the decision to change their Original Blend Earl Grey to a modified flavour. They have now backtracked and will sell both the original and new Ear Grey teas.
