The Hut Group Boosts Marketing Team
The Hut Group, who run a portfolio of online retail sites that include WH Smith, Tesco, LoveFilm Asda, Argos Entertainment and Zavvi.com, are growing their marketing team in a bid to expand revenue streams.
Sarah Jasper, former Product Marketing Manager for the Group, has now been promoted to oversee revenue growth as Head of Business Development. She will be tasked with growing their profile in the fashion, health and beauty sectors. Two additional product marketers will be recruited to develop emerging product and media channels as well as boost agency and supplier relationships.
"My new team means I'll have the resource to find more on-pack and promotional deals with mass-market FMCGs and find brands that would like to engage with our 2.5m active customers directly through our media sales channels," she commented.
Matt Moulding, CEO of The Hut Group, said, "Sarah has played a pivotal marketing role within our senior team and has shown the ability to take on a broader senior role in the group. This role broadens her reach across all our product categories, with continued development and execution of tactical product planning, as well as multi-site brand development."
