Procter & Gamble to Launch Free Monthly Digital Beauty Magazine

Procter & Gamble are set to unveil "Beauty Recommended", a free monthly digital magazine, to boost public interest in their beauty portfolio.

The magazine will include interactive video content, editorial features and a click-to-buy function that allows readers to buy products from partner retailers such as Superdrug and Boots.

The content will promote features relating to Procter & Gamble's portfolio of beauty products, including Max Factor, Olay and Pantene, plus partner brands such as Chanel to expand and enhance the digital magazine's editorial remit.

Marketing director for P&G Beauty UK & Ireland, Zaid Al-Qassab, has said that the magazine offers a "great way" for women to engage with its brands and is a result of customer insight, which found that 92% of women don't feel the beauty industry listens to their views.

P&G has also launched "The Makeup Collection", a cross branded marketing initiative that brings together beauty products such as Clairol's Nice 'n' Easy, Max Factor and Olay under the banner 'Transform yourself, yourself'.

Furthermore, readers will be invited to join the new customer panel, submit reviews and create content for further editions.
