O2 Opens Doors to Pitches for Best Solution Digital Marketing Agency
The telecoms network O2 is currently reviewing its digital marketing strategy with the goal of appointing an agency early next year.
Working in conjunction with ad trade body ISBA, O2 is on the lookout for an agency to carry its future growth to a new level. Agencies are being invited to pitch for the business, with a final decision expected in the first quarter of 2010.
Shadi Halliwell, Head of Brand Marketing for O2, said their current review of their digital marketing strategy is vital to ensure they are working with the best ad agencies possible to stay at the forefront of their industry. "We want to ensure we have the best in class agencies delivering groundbreaking digital activity and strategy" she commented.
Along with this major review which has digital agencies in a pitching flurry, O2 is engaging in other major changes to its practises with a move to enter the financial services market. Their new brand O2 Money will see the launch a heavyweight marketing campaign in support of the initiative.
