New Magnum iAd Campaign Introduced by Unilever and Apple

Health and wellbeing retailer Unilever has announced their first iAd campaign to promote the Magnum brand as part of their Pleasure Shaker campaign.

Christina Dunn, Unilever's Senior Brand Manager for Magnum, has said that the iAd network will enable the brand to create new levels of engagement with its ad creative.

The ads will appear on iOS apps and will encourage users to interact by tapping or shaking their devices. They will then be given pleasure themed content, such as chocolate sculpting, flirting with a stranger, living the life of a rock star or walking the red carpet.

Ms Dunn commented: "IAd is the latest in a series of marketing channels we've been exploring... It follows the launch of Magnum's first global digital platform Pleasure 365 earlier this year and the innovative Magnum Pleasure Hunt Across the Internet advergame."

The Magnum iAd launch is part of a wider Unilever initiative in conjunction with Apple to boost the ability of consumers to interact with their brands.

Last year the FMCG giant launched its first iAd campaign for the Lynx Excite range, while just last week they also announced the roll out of iOS apps for Lynx brand promotion.
