MBNA Continues Partnership with MEC for £10m Brand Positioning Account

Following a competitive pitch process, credit banker MBNA has decided to retain the services of media agency MEC for their £10m campaign account.

MEC already had five years under their belt of being in partnership with MBNA. During the recent account review, they were up against four rival agencies.

The account they won spans MEC handling MBNA's media planning and buying, with marketing activity based on the brand positioning of 'Making Life Easier'.

Head of Marketing Operations at MBNA, Louise Tantum, commented:"We are thrilled to continue our partnership with MEC. In the pitch process they showed that they perfectly understood our target audience and business objectives. We are looking forward to working with them on the "Making Life Easier" campaign and seeing the results."
