Google Introduces Paid-For Premium Analytics
Search giant Google has now launched its first paid-for version of Google Analytics to provide brands and ad agencies with an enhanced level of data and support.
Google Premium Analytics has been rolled out to the UK, US and Canada. It will be sold at $150,000 (£96,000) per year.
The upgraded Premium service is aimed at larger businesses and ad agencies, with the objective of offering increased data collection, extra customisable variables and comprehensive reports for download. It will also provide attribution modelling tools that allow users to test different models for assigning credit to conversions.
As standard, the new service will give businesses increased service and support to help them customise the installation of the Premium tool.
Google will continue to make its free Analytics version available to customers alongside the Premium version.
Senior Product Manager at Google, Enrique Munoz Torres, commented: "Even though we're very proud of our standard Google Analytics product, there are some important gaps, especially when it comes to enterprises. If something is broken, they want to be able to call someone. And even if something is not broken, and they want help with implementation and have any questions, they want to talk to a human and get answers right away."
