GMG Commences Campaign to Redesign and Market Smooth Radio Website
Division of the Guardian Media Group, GMG Radio, is set for a redesign of their website smoothradio.co.uk in preparation for its official January relaunch.
Smooth Radio was rolled out nationwide this month and broadcasted online across the UK, on DAB Digital One, Sky TV, Freesat, Freeview, regionally on FM and regional digital radio.
GMG Radio's Deputy Digital Director, Richard Lucas, commented, "Smooth Radio is now the UK's second largest commercial radio station. Our website will closely reflect and complement our on-air output and enable our audience to listen more, dig-deeper, get involved, share, take part in conversations and generally feel more connected with the on-air experience."
GMG has appointed digital marketing agency Code Computerlove to support the rollout of Smooth Radio and complete the redesign. They also appointed Stream UK as their internet streaming provider. In addition, they have launched an offline marketing campaign which will run across TV, press and outdoor to support the national rollout. It will be fronted by Smooth Radio listeners and run by agencies KLP and MediaCom.
