eBay Pairs and Secret Escapes Launch Campaign to Raise Money for WWF Charity

eBay has teamed up with Secret Escapes, a bargain website for luxury travel, to raise money for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

The two brands will be hosting a week-long charity auction. The campaign sponsoring this effort began yesterday, with a Secret Escapes homepage takeover on eBay and a promotion featuring a seven-day auction for an overnight lodge trip at the Wildlife Heritage Foundation in Kent.

Additionally, the campaign will include four three-day auctions for luxury hotel stays, ranging from a night at the 5-star Lowry hotel in Manchester to a seven-night package holiday in Egypt.

The Secret Escapes website will also utilise eBay's Collection tool, which allows shoppers to create boards of items they're keen to bid on. The person who creates the best 'Secret Escapes Collection' will win a trip to the Sahara Palace in Morocco.

All proceeds from the Secret Escapes auctions will be donated to WWF - an international non-Governmental charity founded in 1961 which works to facilitate conservation, research and restoration of the environment.
