Ebay Launches Press Campaign for Fastest Growing Sales Channel

Online auction giant Ebay is set to raise public awareness that its new direct sales channel named Fashion Outlet will allow consumers to save up to 70% on branded and high street fashions.

Launched in April, this new channel has proved to be highly successful, with 2.3m user visits and a sales generation of £4m for the participating brands to date.

Thus far, Ebay's Fashion Outlet has attracted brands such as Ted Baker, Karen Millen, Office and Superdry. Further high street brands will be announced during the next few weeks.

The press ad campaign, which launches today, is aimed at increasing Ebay's share of the high-end fashion market. It will be displayed in up-market women's publications such as Elle, Vogue, Grazia, OK!, Look, Red and Stylist. There is also an outdoor campaign planned for October.
