AOL Boosts High Quality Content Offering
Internet giant AOL has boosted its content offering with the launch of a website aimed at women called MyDailyUK. The move follows the hiring of more than 400 editorial staff across the US and UK this year as part of an ongoing strategy to develop high quality content.
Head of Media and Marketing at AOL Europe, David Shing, commented, "We aim to be the global leader in sourcing, creating and delivering high-quality, trusted, original content to consumers. We've adopted a new editorial approach, blending the best of premium publishing traditions with our rich heritage in online content, advertising and technology."
The MyDaily UK website launch coincides with London Fashion Week and will include backstage reports and interviews from shows highlighting British designers such as Mark Fast and Christopher Kane. The main themes of the site are fashion, mind & body, beauty, decor and travel.
